Wellspring Harvest was born out of Wellspring Cooperative, an economic development company that seeks to create community-based, worker-owned companies in inner-city Springfield, Massachusetts. The Wellspring Harvest greenhouse is located in the Indian Orchard neighborhood and is the largest urban greenhouse in Massachusetts. They grow hydroponic lettuce and herbs, year round, and create skilled labor jobs for a diverse workforce of Indian Orchard and Springfield residents.
