Silverwood Organic Farm is dedicated to making sure everyone has access to fresh, organically grown vegetables. They do this through partnerships with food hubs, multiple Council on Aging entities, local elementary, middle and high schools, and attending three area farmers markets as a HIP approved vendor. Laura has been farming for over 10 years with Silverwood Organic Farm. While her career path took a different turn from her college major, she has since been dedicated to farming and sustainable agriculture. Getting to have face to face connections with customers, chefs, and community members is part of what is most rewarding to Laura. Knowing that the food that Silverwood Organic Farm grows is accessible to everyone in the community makes long days a source of pride in the best possible way! Silverwood Organic Farm was established in 2010 and grows 50 crops on their 8 acre farm in Sherborn, MA, including customer favorites like tomatoes, cucumbers, and their award winning garlic.
