Pell Family Farm has been owned and operated since 1930 originally as a dairy with 45 cows. Third generation, Roger Pell, started growing strawberries when he was in Agriculture school at UCONN and converted the farm to strawberry production in the 1960s. Fourth generation, Tracy Pell, left her 11 year career teaching special education in 2014 to manage the farm with her father. They grow strawberries from May through October, Christmas trees, and Nursery stock using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) growing practices.Farm Bio
