Growing Places, a regional nonprofit organization serving North Central MA, is dedicated to strengthening our local food system. They prioritize purchasing produce from underserved small farms at fair prices. To keep produce affordable and accessible for all, Growing Places lightly processes it, keeps it SNAP and HIP eligible, and subsidizes its cost through grants and partnerships. Boston Food Hub partners with Growing Places to source lightly-processed, locally-grown fruits and vegetables for our institutional customers.
